Pilot and Commander with over 12,000 hours of flight activity and 32 years of experience, all developed within the Alitalia group, where he held both technical / operational and managerial responsibilities. In 1969 he was selected by Alitalia, after having participated in a scholarship from the Aeroclub of Italy at the flight school in Rieti, where he obtained his professional pilot's license.In 1970 he participated in the qualification and standardization courses of the Alitalia group, qualifying as a pilot and later as a Commander on DC930 / 51, MD82 / 83 and B767 aircraft. In 1980 he was selected by the company for specific courses at the Galgano company, specialized in management training, where he was found as "High potential", with "problem solving" skills. In the following years 1981-1884 he assumed both training and control assignments, with the qualification of Instructor and Controller of commanders and pilots... In the years 1985-1997 he is Coordinator at the Training Center, where he contributes as head of the training courses to the command, with the “Save Resource” program, to the 40% decrease in negative results. In the same period, he began his managerial and managerial experience as Deputy Head of Short and Medium Range Pilot in the companies of the ATI group and Alitalia. n 1997, following the acquisition by Alitalia of the Eurofly company with the aim of creating a business unit for charter flights, he was seconded to Malpensa as Director of Flight Operations and Project Manager for the long haul route, successfully completing the certification. in just five months, compared to 8-12 months normally expected. Subsequently, he was entrusted with a series of initiatives to improve corporate performance such as: Coordinator of the quality system for Aeroporti di Roma, integrated with Alitalia for Handling operations, which ended with the improvement of existing processes. • Responsible for the implementation of the Quality System for the reduction of flight delays of the ATI / Alitalia companies, in collaboration with the ENAV / ENAC institutional structures, with recognition of the results obtained. • Coordinator and manager of optimizing the use of the crew of the ATI company, with a 20% improvement in productivity. • Facilitator in "Human Factor" processes for the reduction of air accidents, within the CRM (crew resource management romoter and coordinator of the working group with Alitalia's Technical Department of the Pilot-transit-check project, the first in Italy, for the reduction of costs and the necessary resources for line maintenance. • Responsible for achieving the objectives and respecting the budget of all the technical / operational operations of the charter project of the subsidiary Eurofly. In 2005 consultant for the development of Business Plan and the start-up of new airlines based in Nigeria: Arik Air Ltd and Chadwick Airlines, with aircraft, cost and network analysis.
